The Two-Handed series allows salmon and steelhead anglers to work large, difficult streams efficiently. These rods are designed for spey casts, switch casts and underhand casts when using traditional or specialized lines. Anglers fish more effectively with Sage's Two-Handed rods because their longer length better controls the swing of the fly and requires less line to be stripped in before recasting. In addition, our Two-Handed rods take less effort to cast and are particularly effective in areas where backcasts are severely limited. Sage manufactures two different actions in its Two-Handed rods: a classic, more traditional spey action and a fast European-style action.
